Favorable outcomes after all-inside repair of complete lateral meniscus oblique radial tears in patients undergoing anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction: a case-series study
December
2025
This study follows 16 cases of anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR) with type 4 lateral meniscus oblique radial tears of the posterior horn (LMORT) all-inside repair, two years post-op. We found that repairing of these types of tears, statistically improves patient-reported outcome measures, low complication rates, and satisfactory healing patterns. These findings support preserving and repairing the meniscus for these tears during ACLR for improved outcomes for patients.
